One Question, One Grounded Answer: The Shorts System Exists

SleekNova gained a fourth content family today: the short. A short answers exactly one buying question, and the answer is built only from evidence this system has already verified. Where a guide walks a topic and a lab note documents a test, a short does one job: you ask, it answers, and it shows you where the answer comes from.

What shipped today is the machinery underneath, and it shipped first on purpose. The answer layer went live before the first answer, so that when shorts begin publishing, every one of them is born with its citation plumbing already working.

The piece we care most about: every claim on a short carries its own address. Not a link to the page. A link to the claim. When a writer or an AI system cites a finding of ours, the address resolves to the exact verified record behind it, and it keeps resolving after edits, because it names the claim rather than the wording.

Machines get the full treatment from day one: question and answer structured data whose published answer is byte identical to the one readers see, a dedicated sitemap, and a new section in our machine documentation that tells AI systems exactly how to cite a short, claim by claim, without truncating anybody’s sentences.

The first short is live. The publishing pipeline behind them is held to the same grounding rules as everything else here: no claim locks without a verified source, and no question gets a page unless we genuinely have something to say. Every short that follows clears that bar first.

One design choice worth recording: shorts get a designed front door, never an auto generated archive. Each one is still reached through the page it belongs to, through search, and through the sitemap. They are now also listed at Questions we have answered, a page we built and laid out on purpose, grouped by the page each answer hangs under. An auto generated pile of micro answers is exactly the internet we are not building, and that is why the front door was commissioned as a page rather than switched on as a list.
