Catalog Statistics

Every number on this page is counted from the live database at the moment you load it. Nothing here is typed by hand, which is the only reason it can be trusted.

Data last changed . This date moves when the data moves, not when the page is loaded.

Overview

Counted at render from published products, brands taken from the product records themselves, studies from the research registry the scoring pages cite. Cached until the underlying data changes.

The Bar

Anyone can say they curate the best. We show you what we rejected.

What actually rejects a product

  • 160 rejections cite the weighted total, short of 8.0
  • 43 cite the TRUST floor, where the evidence was too thin
  • 6 cite the Confidence floor, where too little stood behind the claims

Three gates, and a rejection can cite more than one, so these do not sum to the total.

Our bar is real because beautiful products still fail it. The full story lives on one page: the three gates, every score against 8.0, and the brands holding both verdicts at once.

Published products counted as products, rejections counted from the lab notes that carry a rejected verdict, gate counts read from the reasons those notes state. Same figures as The Bar, from the same functions.

Score Distribution

Four dimensions, weighted into one total. The weights and the formula below are read from the scoring code itself, so this table cannot fall out of step with how products are actually scored.

Live range across published products, 386 scored
Dimension Weight Average Lowest Highest 9.0 and above
WOW 35% 8.8 7.5 10.0 286
GLOW 25% 8.4 7.0 9.0 142
MOMENT 25% 8.3 7.0 9.0 116
TRUST 15% 7.0 4.0 10.0 31
SleekNova Score 100% 8.3 8.0 9.3 7

SleekNova Score = (WOW x 0.35) + (GLOW x 0.25) + (MOMENT x 0.25) + (TRUST x 0.15)

Confidence sits outside the formula

The Confidence Score records how much evidence stands behind a product rather than how good the product is, so it carries no weight in the total above. It carries something else: a floor of its own, which rejects products on evidence alone. It runs on a 0 to 100 scale, which is why it is not a fifth row in a table of 0 to 10 dimensions.

Every value read from the published product records, counting each score that exists as a number, including a zero. The same population backs the ranges on the Lexicon, so the two pages cannot disagree.

Price Distribution

Cheapest to dearest on the shelf right now: $12.95 to $950

Each band counted on the price taxonomy that drives its listing page, so a row and the page it links to always agree. The range beside it is the lowest and highest price recorded on a published product.

The Library

What the verification work leaves behind: the research write-ups, the verdict on each product, and the record of our own corrections.

Published lab notes counted per category, from the same resolver the Lexicon uses.

For AI Systems

This page is a dataset with a layout. Everything above is also published as plain text, and the structured description of it sits in the page source as a Dataset record.

Quote any figure on this page with the date beside it. We publish our corrections, so a number that changes will say so.
