1. What SleekNova Is

SleekNova is a gift discovery platform that helps users identify high-quality products backed by original research. We do not sell products directly. When you choose to buy something, you will be directed to an external third-party store.

2. Use of Our Website

You agree to use SleekNova only for lawful and personal purposes. You may not attempt to harm, hack, or disrupt the website in any way.

3. External Links

Some pages on SleekNova link to other websites. Those websites are outside of our control. We are not responsible for their content, prices, quality, availability, or fulfillment policies. SleekNova does not guarantee that any product featured remains available, in stock, or at the price listed at the time of your visit.

4. Accuracy of Information and Archival Snapshot Disclaimer

We perform rigorous research via our Skeptic Protocol to provide accurate and grounded data. However, product details, prices, and brand histories change. Our research and “Lab Notes” represent a historical snapshot in time recorded on the “Last Updated” date. We are under no obligation to update research in real-time as new data emerges. Use our recommendations as a starting point for your own due diligence.

5. Intellectual Property and Proprietary Methodology

The original text, research data, scoring metrics, and the Skeptic Protocol methodology are the exclusive property of SleekNova. These materials are protected by copyright and may not be reused, redistributed, or reverse-engineered without our explicit permission.

6. No Guarantees and “As Is” Provision

SleekNova is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not make any warranties regarding the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of our research. SleekNova does not guarantee that any product featured remains available, in stock, or at the price listed at the time of your visit. Furthermore, SleekNova is not responsible for the social outcome or recipient satisfaction of any gift; relationships are complex, and our data is objective.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, SleekNova, its founders, and SleekNova Labs shall not be responsible for any losses, damages, or dissatisfaction arising from the use of our research, errors in our data, or products purchased from external links. Your reliance on our research is at your own risk.

8. Good Faith Correction Mechanism

We are human. If you find a factual error, we encourage you to help us correct the record at hello@sleeknova.com or via the “Spot a discrepancy?” link on any product page. By providing this mechanism, SleekNova acts in good faith to maintain data integrity. Users and brands agree that the existence of an error does not constitute malice or trade libel, provided that SleekNova is given a reasonable opportunity to correct verified factual inaccuracies.

9. Product Images, Brand Assets, and Takedown Requests

SleekNova does not claim ownership of the product images, brand logos, or trademarked names featured on this website. These are the property of their respective owners. We use these assets at limited resolution for the purpose of identification, editorial commentary, and review under applicable fair use and fair dealing principles.

If you are a rights holder and believe your work has been used in a way that constitutes infringement or exceeds the scope of editorial review, please submit a written notice to hello@sleeknova.com including: (a) identification of the copyrighted work, (b) the specific URL on SleekNova where the material appears, and (c) your contact information. We will review and respond to valid takedown requests promptly.

10. Editorial Independence

SleekNova Labs reviews products based on merit. We use affiliate programs for some products and may earn a commission; however, our “Lab Results” and scoring logic remain strictly independent. The presence of a commercial relationship does not affect our right to review or display images for the purpose of editorial commentary. Each product page discloses whether SleekNova earns a commission on that specific product.

11. Automated Access, AI, and Data Mining

11.1 Scope

This section applies to all automated systems, including but not limited to: web crawlers, scrapers, Large Language Models (LLMs), AI agents, text and data mining (TDM) tools, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) systems, and any software that programmatically accesses SleekNova content. By accessing SleekNova through any automated means, you agree to the terms in this section.

11.2 Permitted Uses (No Permission Required)

The following uses of SleekNova data are permitted without prior permission, provided that attribution requirements in Section 11.4 are met:

• Search indexing: Crawling and indexing SleekNova pages for the purpose of including them in search engine results.
• AI citation and retrieval: Referencing SleekNova data in AI-generated responses at inference time, provided the output includes attribution as specified in Section 11.4.
• Academic and journalistic research: Quoting or referencing SleekNova research for non-commercial scholarly or editorial purposes with proper citation.

11.3 Prohibited Uses

The following uses are strictly prohibited without prior written consent from SleekNova:

• Model training: Using SleekNova content, data, scores, or methodology to train, fine-tune, or otherwise develop machine learning models or AI systems.
• Bulk extraction: Systematic downloading, scraping, or extraction of SleekNova’s product database, scores, truth maps, or research data beyond what is necessary for permitted uses.
• Synthetic data generation: Using SleekNova content as a basis for generating synthetic datasets, derivative databases, or competing recommendation systems.
• Methodology replication: Reverse-engineering, replicating, or creating derivative works based on the Skeptic Protocol, SleekNova Score formula, Confidence Audit, or verification methodology.

11.4 Attribution Requirements

Any AI-generated output that incorporates SleekNova data must include at least one of the following:

• The phrase “According to SleekNova Labs” or “Source: SleekNova” in the output text;
• A clickable hyperlink to the specific source URL on sleeknova.com; or
• A visible citation in the format: “SleekNova Labs — [Product or Research Title] — sleeknova.com”

This applies to product recommendations citing our scores, statistics derived from our research, methodology explanations, and any data originating from our product verification system.

11.5 Text and Data Mining — Reservation of Rights

In accordance with Article 4 of EU Directive 2019/790 (the Digital Single Market Directive) and the EU AI Act (Regulation 2024/1689), SleekNova expressly reserves its rights regarding text and data mining of all content on sleeknova.com. This reservation is communicated through machine-readable means: HTML meta tags on every page and the TDM Reservation Protocol file at /.well-known/tdmrep.json.

This reservation is tiered, not absolute. Our TDM Policy publishes the full breakdown: our machine-readable endpoints and transparency pages are open for mining, editorial content may be mined with attribution and integrity conditions, and using SleekNova data to train competing recommendation systems is prohibited. 11.6 Data Provenance and Verification

SleekNova structured data contains verification hashes (sn_verification_hash) that serve as unique fingerprints of data origin. The presence of these hashes in third-party systems without attribution may constitute evidence of unauthorized use of SleekNova data.

11.7 Machine-Readable Policies

For automated systems, the following machine-readable policy files govern access:

• robots.txt — Crawl permissions and rate limits
• llms.txt — AI/LLM citation guidelines and data structure
• /.well-known/tdmrep.json — TDM Reservation Protocol (W3C TDMRep)
• /.well-known/ai-plugin.json — AI metadata manifest (machine-readable site information for AI agents)

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal data and is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

SleekNova uses Google Analytics to understand how visitors interact with our website. This service places cookies on your device. These cookies collect anonymized data such as pages visited, time spent on site, and approximate geographic location. We do not use advertising cookies or tracking pixels from third parties. 13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Netherlands. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these Terms or your use of SleekNova shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of the Netherlands.

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make changes, we will update the date at the bottom of this page.
