What Our Founder Does, and What the AI Does

SleekNova's founder personally reviews all content before publishing.

Until November 1, 2026, four of our own descriptions of how SleekNova is made said more than happens. Our About page said every product recommendation is personally reviewed before publishing. Our methodology page said every recommendation is verified and approved by a human editor. Our page for brands said every claim is signed off by a human. And the file we publish for AI systems said our founder personally reviews all content before publishing.

Those descriptions gave a person work the AI does. Mark van Oosterwijck, who founded SleekNova, does not read every page before it goes live, and no person signs off each claim one by one. What happens is this. AI reads the sources, writes the pages and checks every claim against its source. Mark decides the rules the AI works under and how the pages look, approves every product before it is researched, decides what does not belong here, opens every outside source a short answer rests on, and publishes every page.

The four places now say that, in those words. Every short answer now says it too, directly under the answer: who stands behind it, that AI wrote it from outside sources he opened himself, and that no brand paid for it. The foot of each answer says how it was made.

Later note, 2 November 2026: after reading it live, Mark moved that line to the end of each answer, so the page goes straight from the short answer into the rest of it. Who stands behind the answer, how AI wrote it from outside sources he opened himself, that no brand paid for it and the date it was last updated now sit together there, under How this answer was made.

Making that line true on every answer

Before the line went on, we checked every source our short answers name. Of 4,549 claims that name a page outside SleekNova, 4,372 rest on a page Mark opened and pasted himself. The other 177, on 46 of our 150 answers, reached the answer through one of our older product pages, built before we opened every source by hand, and named the outside page although Mark had not opened it. They now name the product page of ours they came from, which still names where it found them.

Our correction of August 8, 2026 described the About page as it read that day. It stays as written.
